Prototype Art Director, Grades 1-8 (2012)
As Art Director, I was instrumental in the prototype development for Alive in Christ, an sixteen-book consumable textbook series.
- I studied competition, color palettes, age-appropriate typography and designs, icons, illustrators, and more.
- I worked closely with senior staff and advised on the best design solutions for their content needs and consumable product usability.
- I directed a great design studio and personally designed items as-needed, seeing the prototype through initial concepts to final approval.

Production Designer, Grades 2, 5, and 8 (2014)
Throughout production, I directed a design studio to ensure that the prototype’s design aesthetics were carried out from brainstorm to completion. I considered hierarchy, tracking/readability, content balance, and photo/illustration choices. Because this series was meant to be written in, I always made sure there was ample room to write or draw on-page as directed. These samples were put together from each book to represent each book as a whole.
