Joined at the Knit
I started making famous-person finger puppets in early 2017 as a gift for my favorite band from my high school days. They were coming to town and were selling meet-and-greet tickets. How could I tell my inner 14-year-old no?
Once I bought my ticket, there was a moment when it dawned on me: I can't go empty-handed. I just couldn't fathom it. I decided to make a finger puppet of each band member.
When the day came, they loved them and it made for a great memory. Not only that, but I realized how much fun I had making the puppets to begin with. It turned into a really great creative outlet that I sell now and then. Finger puppets are not all I knit, but they are definitely what I have the most fun knitting.
